La raison de ces actions pourrait \u00eatre la grande quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;acides gras insatur\u00e9s associ\u00e9e \u00e0 des antioxydants comme la chlorophylle, ainsi que l&rsquo;\u00e9quilibre unique de nutriments dans la CVB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>OKAMOTO et al. ont rapport\u00e9 que lorsque des rats hypertendus ont \u00e9t\u00e9 trait\u00e9s avec du CVE, leur tension art\u00e9rielle a montr\u00e9 une diminution de 63 mm Hg une heure apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;administration intraveineuse et de 47 mm Hg deux heures apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;administration intra p\u00e9riton\u00e9ale. La tension art\u00e9rielle normale de rats a \u00e9galement montr\u00e9 une chute de 32 mm Hg une heure apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;administration [38].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les actions anti-lipid\u00e9mique et anti-ath\u00e9roscl\u00e9rotique de la CVB ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tudi\u00e9es par SANO et al., en utilisant des lapins m\u00e2les blancs japonais. Une charge d&rsquo;un r\u00e9gime riche en cholest\u00e9rol durant dix semaines a remarquablement augment\u00e9 les niveaux de cholest\u00e9rol s\u00e9rique total et de cholest\u00e9rol b\u00eata-lipoprot\u00e9ique dans le s\u00e9rum, provoquant une l\u00e9sion aortique ath\u00e9romateuse. Dans le groupe recevant la chlorella et auquel un r\u00e9gime riche en cholest\u00e9rol contenant 1% de Chlorella vulgaris en poudre a \u00e9t\u00e9 administr\u00e9, l&rsquo;augmentation des niveaux de cholest\u00e9rol total et de cholest\u00e9rol b\u00eata-lipoprot\u00e9ique a \u00e9t\u00e9 supprim\u00e9e. De plus, le d\u00e9veloppement des l\u00e9sions aortiques ath\u00e9romateuses a \u00e9t\u00e9 consid\u00e9rablement inhib\u00e9. Le clofibrat utilis\u00e9 comme t\u00e9moin positif dans cette exp\u00e9rience n&rsquo;a pas montr\u00e9 d&rsquo;action inhibitrice [39]. Des effets similaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9s apr\u00e8s une administration orale de CVE \u00e0 des rats nourris avec du cholest\u00e9rol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les augmentations de lipides s\u00e9riques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 inhib\u00e9es par l&rsquo;alimentation en CVE et en CVB, presque au m\u00eame degr\u00e9. Les excr\u00e9tions f\u00e9cales de st\u00e9ro\u00efdes (cholest\u00e9rol, acide d\u00e9soxycholique et acide lithocholique) ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 augment\u00e9es.
